The Integrated Dilution System (IDS) for the NAIS and EAS allows to use the spectrometers with sample air flow rates between 0.5 and 10 l/min. The normal sampling flow rate of the NAIS is 54 l/min and of the EAS 30 l/min.
The dilution system is software-controlled, automatic and integrated into the spectrometer data acquisition system.
